Terms of Service
Effective August 18, 2026 · Version 2026-08-18
Please read these Terms carefully. They include important rules about payments, independent providers, domains, AI-generated information, wallets, tokens, and limits of liability.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Metaparlour governing your access to the website, applications, storefronts, marketplaces, tools, and related services (the Platform). If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Platform.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use the Platform for a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
We record the policy version, acceptance time, account email, IP address, and browser or device information when you accept these Terms. Electronic acceptance has the same effect as a written signature to the extent permitted by law.
2. Platform services and membership tiers
Metaparlour connects consumers, professionals, parlours, creators, influencers, mannequins, stylists, and other members. Features may include profiles, storefronts, products, events, booking and order tools, schedules, portfolios, referrals, domain tools, wallets, tokens, MyStyle scans, and MAX (Metaparlour Agent X).
Features and limits vary by membership tier. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, tier requirements, beta features, or eligibility rules. Beta and experimental features may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate and current information, protect access to your email, verification codes, connected accounts, and wallets, and promptly notify us about suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Usernames, profile names, and domains must not impersonate others, infringe intellectual-property rights, mislead users, or violate law. We may reject, rename, suspend, or reassign identifiers when reasonably necessary to address abuse, disputes, security, or legal obligations.
4. Independent providers, bookings, and services
Professionals and businesses offering services are independent providers, not Metaparlour employees, agents, partners, or representatives. They control their services, qualifications, availability, pricing, cancellation rules, and performance.
Metaparlour does not provide or supervise wellness, beauty, hair, health, or other professional services and does not guarantee a provider's identity, licensing, quality, safety, legality, availability, or suitability. Customers and providers are responsible for evaluating each other and resolving service disputes, subject to applicable law and Platform policies.
Bookings may be changed, declined, cancelled, or affected by provider availability. Before-and-after media, reviews, messages, and appointment information must be lawful and shared only with appropriate permission.
The Booking, Cancellation, and Refund Policy shown before checkout forms part of these Terms. If a provider publishes an additional rule, the customer must see it before booking, it cannot conflict with Platform policy or applicable law, and the more protective legally required consumer right will apply.
5. Orders, payments, fees, subscriptions, and refunds
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Providers generally set their own prices; Metaparlour may charge disclosed platform, processing, membership, referral, or service fees. You authorize the applicable charges, taxes, and recurring payments shown before purchase.
Provider cancellation and refund rules may apply to bookings and products. Event tickets, digital items, personalized services, subscriptions, and third-party purchases may have different or non-refundable terms where legally permitted. Statutory consumer rights are not excluded.
Before a recurring membership begins, checkout will disclose the setup fee, recurring price, billing frequency, material tier benefits, renewal terms, and available cancellation method. Unless checkout states otherwise, cancellation stops future renewals at the end of the paid billing period; it does not retroactively refund setup fees or amounts already earned. Failed payments may suspend paid features, and a downgrade or cancellation may remove tier-gated tools, storefront access, or an assigned Metaparlour subdomain after reasonable notice.
You are responsible for taxes, payout information, chargebacks, refunds, and regulatory obligations applicable to your activity. Metaparlour may withhold or reverse payouts when reasonably necessary for refunds, disputes, fraud prevention, sanctions compliance, or legal requirements.
Metaparlour will account for customer receipts, taxes, processor fees, reserves, refunds, provider payables, and Platform revenue separately. Provider funds will not be treated as Metaparlour operating funds. Payout timing remains subject to settlement, fraud review, refunds, disputes, reserves, and the payment provider's rules.
6. Storefronts, usernames, and domains
Eligible accounts may receive a username-based Metaparlour subdomain. Metaparlour owns and controls metaparlour.io and grants you a limited, revocable right to use an assigned subdomain while your account remains eligible and compliant.
Custom domains are purchased from and governed by the applicable registrar. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, you are responsible for purchasing, owning, renewing, securing, transferring, and maintaining your custom domain and DNS settings. Metaparlour may verify domain control before activating it and may disconnect a domain that is unverified, expired, unsafe, disputed, or misconfigured.
A domain search or purchase link does not guarantee availability, registration, price, renewal, transfer, or trademark rights. Registrar terms, privacy notices, refund rules, and fees apply separately.
7. MyStyle, MAX, and AI-generated information
MyStyle and MAX may analyze submitted photos or information and produce hair classifications, face-shape estimates, style suggestions, product categories, or other AI-generated content. Outputs are estimates, may be inaccurate or biased, and are not medical, dermatological, cosmetology, safety, or other professional advice.
Do not rely on AI output where an error could cause injury, allergic reaction, chemical damage, financial loss, or another significant consequence. Consult a qualified professional and follow product instructions and safety testing. You must have permission to upload any image or information concerning another person.
8. Wallets and Metaparlour tokens
Wallet features may display public blockchain addresses, balances, or transactions and may allow you to connect a self-custodied or embedded wallet. Blockchain transactions may be public, irreversible, delayed, or subject to network fees. You are responsible for wallet security, keys, approvals, recipient addresses, and tax consequences.
Metaparlour tokens are intended for Platform utility and access as described at the time of use. They are not bank deposits, legal tender, equity, debt, guaranteed investments, or promises of profit or future value. Availability, utility, transferability, and redemption may change, and laws or third-party network conditions may limit use.
9. Products, content, and intellectual property
Sellers are responsible for product descriptions, pricing, inventory, safety, legality, fulfilment, warranties, returns, and required disclosures. Metaparlour does not manufacture or endorse third-party products unless expressly stated.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Metaparlour a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt, display, distribute, and promote that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and market the Platform. You represent that you have all required rights and permissions.
The Platform, branding, software, and Metaparlour-created content remain owned by Metaparlour or its licensors. No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these Terms.
10. Referrals, promotions, and communications
Referral rewards, promotions, beta offers, and token incentives may have additional eligibility, expiration, fraud-prevention, and payout conditions. We may correct errors or withhold rewards associated with self-referrals, duplicate accounts, manipulation, chargebacks, or abuse.
You may receive transactional messages necessary to operate your account. Marketing communications are subject to available consent and opt-out controls.
11. Prohibited conduct
- Harassment, discrimination, threats, exploitation, or unlawful conduct
- Fraud, impersonation, deceptive listings, fake reviews, or false credentials
- Infringement of privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights
- Unsafe, prohibited, counterfeit, or unlawfully marketed products or services
- Circumventing fees, security, access controls, or payment systems
- Scraping, malware, spam, automated abuse, or interference with the Platform
- Using AI, scans, wallets, tokens, referrals, or domains for unlawful or harmful activity
12. Suspension and termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access, remove content, hold transactions, or disable storefronts and subdomains when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, investigate suspected misconduct, respond to disputes, or comply with law. You remain responsible for obligations incurred before termination.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN AS-IS AND AS-AVAILABLE BASIS TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. METAPARLOUR DOES NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION, ERROR-FREE AI OUTPUT, PROVIDER PERFORMANCE, DOMAIN AVAILABILITY, TOKEN VALUE, OR THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, METAPARLOUR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS, TOKENS, WALLET ASSETS, OR DOMAIN USE. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Indemnity and general terms
To the extent permitted by law, business users, providers, and sellers will defend, indemnify, and hold Metaparlour harmless from third-party claims arising from their services, products, content, storefront, domain, breach of these Terms, or violation of law or another person's rights.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; Metaparlour may assign it as part of a restructuring, financing, sale, or transfer of the Platform. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any feature-specific terms form the agreement concerning the Platform.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. When changes are material, we may provide notice and require acceptance of a new version before continued account use. The version displayed on this page is the version presented for electronic acceptance.
Questions, legal notices, or account requests may be submitted to support@metaparlour.io or through the contact methods published on the Platform.
